Sunflowers.

I may have mentioned previously that my favourite sport is cycling and, indeed, I am enjoying watching the current television coverage of this year's Vuelta a España.

Of course, my favourite sporting event is la Tour de France and whenever I see a sunflower I am reminded of the race as the camera operators always seem to find a way to show fields of sunflowers along the route.

These flowers, probably past their best now, are growing in the garden of one of our neighbours.
