Christmas Eve

I had a very pleasant day with my pal ML who had the inspired idea of a very healthy soup for lunch followed by trifle - delicious!

In the evening I was joined by another M to go to the watch night service at church which was a lovely way to end the day.

I was struck by a lyric in a well known Carole:
"Later on, we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we'vemade
Walking in a winter wonderland."
