Turns out you can decorate a house for Christmas in 30 minutes! (Helped largely by Mr B procuring a second hand Christmas Tree. Let's hope the person who left it on the street wasn't coming back for it...)

Bad news of the day is that our TV aerial doesn't work so we couldn't get BBC channels. However, since I had a good fiddle with it, we now can't get any channels...

After all the shopping was finally done, a bunch of pals arrived for apéros to warm our new flat and, suitably warmed, MrB prepared so much food that we could have fed all our friends... (but I guess leftovers are going to feature strongly over the next week, so we might as well get a head start). Then a movie and now bed is very strongly calling my name.
