Finishing touches

We are getting to the point where we just need to put finishing touches to the kitchen. Today I put up the wall cupboards above the fridge, one of which is just visible top left. There were so many bits involved, assemble two cupboards, mount rails and brackets and fit cupboards, fit doors, make and fit underside and end panels, add underside deco strip.... that it took me all day; ex nihilo nihil fit!  N then took over the kitchen and made a wonderful parmentier de confit du canard.  We had a nice glass of Merlot to accompany it and then retired with another to watch Alan Bennet on the telly.
