Christmas Eve

Well it has become a bit of a tradition now that I meet with Aideen for a coffee on Christmas Eve and a bit of a last minute text at 8:30am this morning meant I was able to do it again this year. Joe was relieved that I would take Alf out for an hour or two and so was able to wrap my presents. But I was definitely the winner as the gifts from Aideen were just wonderful. I am so lucky to have her as a friend. So my photo above isn't the best photo but it really just shows the love my dad has for Alf. We headed this afternoon to the Wheatsheaf for a drink with my dad before heading to Church. Alf had a wonderful afternoon pottering around the pub. We even saw Chris and Verdi and her wonderful family. Alf is now in bed and I have the red wine on the go. Cheers everyone.
