All Is Calm ...
Christmas Eve.
We woke to a downpour and decided to head north. I was in need of some quilt wadding, and the shop about to close till after New Year, so off we went to Linlithgow.
Mission accomplished, we headed down to South Queensferry to take a look at how the new bridge is coming along. Nearly there. See extra.
The sky was blue, the water was steely, the wind was like a knife. And The Bridge, still the colossus that bestrides the river and commands the attention.
