Sliding Away

We seem to be a day early on Christmas organisation this year (that said, the Cheeseminors are decorating the cake and Cheesemajor is baking) so I've used the day going through slides that haven't seen the light for 30 years.

In some cases 300 years would have been wiser.

This is the discard pile.  I'm sure that blurry mallards on a pond, somewhere, seemed like a good photo at the time; but that time has passed.

Still, there's something 'real' about the images still being on the exact same physical material that the light fell on so many years ago.
