Tufted Titmouse ...

I was sitting out in the back yard again today (and, yes, it was cold!) trying for whatever I could get.  I was surrounded by birds and squirrels.

I find capturing the tufted titmice to be incredibly difficult so when I saw them coming around I got very excited.  They are very fast ... zipping in to get the nuts and then zipping off just as quickly.  I took some peanuts and laid them out on this branch then sat back and waited. 

It took a little bit of time but I was rewarded in the end when this beautiful tufted titmouse took my "bait"!  I was very pleased to say the least!
