The road often travelled

Whilst we finished off our packing, we had the radio on. Radio 3 played the whole of my favourite Christmas music - Britten's Ceremony of Carols. Sublime.

I put aside the 2 work calendars I bought home. I have still to sort out next year's - too busy. A job for after Christmas. The top right image is a combination of each calendar's December photo, 2015 photos.

243 miles later we arrived at the cottage we are staying at, 20 mins from J's Mum's. We had an immediate stand off with a pony, which tried to follow us through the gate.

Turning the key and walking inside, we were faced with some goodies. The rest of our party arrive shortly. I think we will enjoy our stay.
