A very BIG Visitor ........

...and a sad story.

  This huge guy (nearly 2inches long) was sitting on flynns chair this morning...He was so big and imposing Flynn was really nervous of his pincers at the front.

As the day developed a bond between the two formed and Flynn helped me with my tripod and camera for our photo shoot....he was very accomodating and didn't move much.  I thought he was sick until he flew off.

Unfortunately for our illustrious visitor a magpie was watching him from a nearby tree. Flynn watched the whole thing..........the beetle getting caught and munched.....needless to say the tears flowed.....and birds are not his favorite thing right now.
I am glad its Christmas day tomorrow the excitement has taken over about the pressies under the tree.
