Christmas Eve

We got up late and have chilled for most of the day here in Hamilton.  After a trip to the supermarket for last minute supplies we had lunch and then looked around the shops in Hamilton.  This caught my eye as I have never before seen a Christmas tree against such a blue sky nor with such strong shadows.  The supermarket was very quiet and the staff there thought that it was because most people have already taken advantage of the Christmas weekend and gone to the beach.

No 2 son has been studying today and is coming over for dinner later and then staying with us overnight.
