Last minute

All a bit at the last minute today. This morning was wet and dull. This afternoon was much better but it was still late in the day before I got out looking for a blip. We have so many robins on the grass, they are simply everywhere.
This evening a neighbor came round, as she always does at Christmas, with her  four boys. Their father often has to work at Christmas; he is an emergency room physician. The oldest boy plays his violin for us and he really gets a beautiful tone out of his violin. He is in 9th grade now, a freshman in high school.
