We visited the local kiltmaker today and Iain got measured for his kilt. Although he has worn a kilt a few times before, it was always hired. Now he wants his own. There's something about living abroad that makes you want to hold on to your heritage I guess.
He has chosen the Anderson (Ancient) as his tartan. My mother (his gran) was an Anderson , so he is 'entitled'. I can't wait to see him in the whole regalia when it is ready!
