Tough morning

Poor Baby L had a tough morning at nursery for another settling in session. She cried on and off for the full two hours that we left her for, didn't eat much and eventually cried herself to sleep (about 10 mins before we collected her).

She was so clingy after we picked her up and didn't want to nap at all. Poor baby.

N and I went and had brunch together and a walk round the nearby pond while she was at nursery... and I admit to shedding a few tears. This going back to work thing is so hard, for so many reasons.

The nursery is closed all of next week. We hope Baby L gets her confidence back, ready for her next session on 3rd January.
