Modification

This rechargeable vacuum cleaner is rubbish, a charge only lasted about 2 minutes, so I investigated.
The nicads (not Nimh) were only 1200mah and the starting current is 12amps dropping to 5 when running.
Removed the rechargeable batteries, fitted an inrush limiter and a cigarette lighter lead.
Starting current less than 6 amps and it runs at 4.8 to 5.
Will do for the trailer tent or boat perhaps.
