Avantidrome, Cambridge, New Zealand

We went to see No 2 son's accommodation block this morning and from there went to Cambridge for a mooch about and a coffee.  Very pretty town.

From there we went to look around the velodrome - their national centre rather like ours in Manchester which was completed in 2014 and opened by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.  We had a very healthy lunch in the 'bikery cafe' there.

After we dropped No 2 son off we went to Hamilton Gardens which were stunning.  They have nine theme gardens including tropical, english, italian renaissance - you get the drift (see extras).
