Heading South

NorthLink ferry Hjaltland heading south to Aberdeen at 4 o'clock this afternoon three hours early in an attempt to beat the worst of the weather. I have a friend onboard so I wish him well. Tomorrow's trips North and South have been cancelled with the next ferry after that on Boxing Day also under review.  Still if we live in the Isles we need to expect such events.
