Great Tit

It was a cold but bright morning, so I popped over to Pickerings Pasture before the promised wind and rain arrived.
Unfortunately there were not too many birds about apart from the usual tits and finches on the feeders.

Then I picked up my mum and we went to Sainsbury's to do the last of the food shopping. Neither of us needed much, and it was surprisingly quiet for late morning and we were back home before midday - result!

This afternoon I had a nice time doing a bit more baking and made a venison casserole - yummy in weather like this :)

The last of the wrapping will be done tonight and then my husband has a day off tomorrow, so we were hoping for some good weather, but the forecast is for more rain and gales :(
