The rise of online retailers has made it increasingly difficult for even big name stores to compete with their prices. Another victim is shown here, the large Comet store at Maybury in Edinburgh. I feel sorry for the staff who will be made redundant. But then again I often buy online so in a way have contributed to the highstreet downturn.
