Shadows on a Foggy Day

We made two forays out into the world today, both in the fog, but the sun poked through a couple of times at home. One, over Germantown Rd to Kaiser in Hillsboro (all's well), and the second to a hotel near the airport to meet brother and sis-in-law before they head for Christmas in NY with the grandkids. Had fun pretending the hotel lobby was our living room replete with a gas fireplace. Opened our gifts, shared cookies, and complained whenever anyone came in from outside letting in a blast of cold air.
