The Boathouse, Winkworth Arboretum

On the way back home I stopped off for couple of hours to walk around the winter landscape of Winkworth Arboretum near Godalming, owned by the National Trust.
There was an almost fairy tale  atmosphere in the woodland on this  slightly misty morning with the old boathouse reflected in the still waters of the lake.
 I only saw two other people out with their dogs throughout the whole morning which added to the peaceful atmosphere. Quite a contrast to the noise and bustle of London.
