Moments Of Pleasure
Evening all,
I wanted to capture the glorious sunset that we could see descending as we bounced up and down on the trampoline at the top of the garden.
(well, one of us was bouncing, i was coughing, spluttering and using it as a form of chest physiotherapy...wheezy boy, stand on the sidelines!!)
I could see the fire in the sky turn the horizon into a Van Gogh paintbox of colours but too involved were we with trying not to not break any vital bones that we could also see it slipping away.
Then my daughter, bless her cotton socks and springy ankles, took pity on me and said that we should get in the car and take off to a high point to see if i could get a photo.
You can't say no, can you...it was always going to be too late but i didn't care a bit, because it was a lovely gesture and one that made me go "aahhh" inside.
So we did, couldn't get a decent photo, couldn't care less, still a great moment.
night all
