Spotlight

Those who dislike moths move swiftly along; I thought this one, camouflaged against the stair carpet, was rather sweet.
Less than a centimetre across, with its delicately patterned wings, it obligingly stayed still to be admired while Stephen and I positioned torch and camera, before catching it in a jar and moving it to the garden.
Not a particularly spectacular blip - just a record of a shared moment of wonder.
