floods

Today Shetland woke up to having had more rain in 12 hours than was in the records from 1940's in 24 hours. There were landslides blocking roads and a few houses been flooded. I guess it had to happen sometime as up till now this year we have managed to avoid the rain. At least the birds are enjoying the puddles/new lakes/lochs/rivers etc. This was taken from our front door.
