no - wrong show!
To Edinburgh this afternoon for two more comedy shows as part of Iain's birthday treats. We saw Paul Merton's impro chums, which was brilliant, basically 'whose line is it anyway' live, with Greg Proops, Mike McShane, Richard Vranch etc. thought I might blip the sketch of 'Transvestite Bingo done in the style of Shakespeare' which was hilarious!
we then saw Nicholas Parsons' Happy Hour, which is a sort of chat show with guests and a few old jokes. He is amazing, at 88, and had some interesting guests including Pam Ayres, a regular on 'Just a Minute' [for you young ones, a radio 4 comedy show]. I caught this shot of him listening diligently to some wonderful acapella singers, and thought it might make the cut as my weekly blip challenge on the subject of 'portrait'. what does the team think?
