Walking past a winter wonderland

We caught an early ferry and got everything done quite quickly.  We stocked up on a few things for over the holidays and got a couple of books with our gift cards (Rather Be the Devil by Ian Rankin and Purity by Jonathan Franzen).  I had other authors in mind but couldn't find anything by them.  There were a lot of people shopping for gifts, and it was busy in the city by the time we left to come home.  So glad that we don't live in Victoria now, although if I had to live in a city again, it would be Victoria.
The windows of some shops are decorated with winter scenes and are quite artistic.  This man was too engrossed in his phone to notice these ones.
