Puddles in the Street of Lights
To Edinburgh today to deliver presents, see friends and (hopefully) do the last of the Christmas shopping.
Late in the afternoon it rained heavily. By the time we got to George Street, puddles had filled on the cobbles and snatches of the Street of Lights were reflected in them it. Now and again a bit of a wind stirred the surface and the colours danced. The above is a puddle picture and so is the extra.
It was freezing, and when Blazing Fiddles started to play, it was the cue for the crowd to jig around in an attempt to keep warm.
