Winter solstice

Sending some love and light through bokeh hearts plus the flower arrangement from yesterday to celebrate that from today the days will get longer and lighter again. I know, winter has just started here and there will be many dark weeks still, but it will get better from now on. Here's hoping somehow it will also get better for the general state of the world.

That there is always hope even in the direst situations is something many people in The Netherlands will be aware of today. A small boy called Tijn, 6 years old, who is terminally ill joined in with the annual Serious Request fundraising with his father and managed to get half Holland to paint their nails and donate for the Red Cross action, up to now he's already collected over 227.000 Euro within 12 hours !
