Just as well we haven't set off on our festive travels yet, or we'd have never heard the desperate cries of our neighbour...and the only other neighbours in earshot have already left!

One little old lady, trapped in a first floor bedroom due to a broken door lock, with hardly any voice left from trying to attract attention by shouting out her window!

One hour, one angle grinder, two ladders and a dollop of goodwill later she was freed from her prison by my lovely husband in not too bad a state considering - just embarrassed as she didn't have her teeth in!

Her German Shepherd (who'd been stuck in the hall all the while) bounced passed Vidar in the rush to get out and relieve himself!  And she may not have been far behind! ;)

Goodwill and kind deeds are really what it should be all about and that's the reason I've chosen today's blip.
