Burgher Burger #8

Attended another Burgher Burger event today and it was brilliant. This one was a bit different - was burger and champagne in The Signet Library in Parliament Square Edinburgh. The building is stunning and I very nearly posted a blip of the ceiling as it is so impressive but it really was all about the food.

Starter: Thai spiced Squat Lobster Bisque with Noodle Dumplings

Main: Buck Deer Burger, sloe gin onions, crispy gem & smoked Applewood with potato & radish bon bons and beetroot slaw

Dessert: Amarena Cherries with Chilli Chocolate Parfait, Toasted Marshmallow & Clotted Cream Iced Truffle

includes a bottle of Pommery POP on arrival and ½ a bottle of Pommery Brut Royal per person. As always, our meat is provided by Puddledub Buffalo.

Ok - this doesn't really sound like I am sticking to my diet but I had planned for it and you got to live your life too don't you :-)

Being back home really does have lots of advantages.
