Where there's a will........

.......there's a way.  one of mum's sayings that resonates with me more teh older I get.

I bought this tail-end of carpet, sight unseen from Christchurch.  Over 16 square metres of it, so   Having bought it, the challenge then was to get it up to Nelson.  It turned out that L&M were in Chch doing some maintenance on R's house and were happy to pop it on the trailer and bring it back up.  After a few phone calls with the sellers all was arranged and L&M picked it up and brought it up yesterday.

I went up to their place in the van today to pick it up.  They were out (doing more cleaning, this time at S&J's.......in time for S's return from the US) but K and friend were there......thankfully!  Between the 3 of us we managed to lift and manoeuvre it into the van where, I decided, it would remain until had a plan for 'what next?'  Hmmmm.......

Otherwise, another very pleasant day of pottering :)
