The best part about winter

here in the south is the camellias!   I stopped by the park in town on my way home from my bowling league just to see if they were blooming yet.  And they were!   This is my favorite but there were also white, light pink and dark pink.    We had some heavy rain yesterday so many blooms were on the ground but the trees were full of buds.   

I'll be stopping back by in the new year as I know those buds will be open!
