Just Take Action!

My dear old pal, Procrastination, has been hanging around here for the past week.....such a familiar and comfortable little friend....but you know, just like fish and visitors, after 3-4 days they ain't so fresh!!!

so, took my pastels in hand and just began to explore!   Not sure this one is done, but it is where i'm leaving it right now and while i'm on a kick i'll start an other one!  I changed the image cos the 2nd one was more interesting and i took a very different approach to it.....started as usual, but didn't like it so i took a very dark pastel and draw it right down the middle of the page....wooo hooo....that changed things...and from there i continued to explore!   happier with this one...still not sure if it's done, but it's time for a beer!

Cold and bright today.   We said farewell to our dear Richard this morning...he is off to the big city of Toronto for the next 5 months!   Altho it is always lovely to have our home back to ourselves, i'll miss him....he's good company and does all the dishes, takes out the compost and garbage, and a variety of other stuff that now we'll have to do!   but things are slowing down here right now, so i'm grateful for that.
