Seasonal Cheer

I was on the look out for a robin this afternoon.  I thought that would be a useful blip contribution to the season.  Robins were not to be found.  However, there were plenty of goldfinches around.  

The goldfinches do not seem to have entered into the spirit of joy which should characterise this time of year.  There was significant bad tempers on display.  Maybe they have heard about the forthcoming storm and are stocking up.
