Sarah and I went into Dumfries today - I had a dental appointment and we decided to buy our non-perishable Christmas food. Yesterday we had all looked up recipes on the internet, and for Christmas Dinner we have chosen a tasty-looking vegetarian pie (recipe here).

I am fairly sure that most people, like us, will wait to buy their fruit and veg until Friday, so to avoid the queues, I hatched up a cunning plan with the local greengrocer (Parry Farm Produce). I will send him a list of what i need, and he will have it ready to pick up at his shop on Friday.

So now we can sit back and relax ;-)
