An Apple a Day

A beautiful day for a change so got a bit of exercise along the lanes....there were lots of birds twittering in the bushes but this little female Sparrow looked so sweet as she tucked into one of the few remaining apples on a tree in the community orchard, that she stole the show and got some blip fame :-)
I had to run hubby to the garage to collect his car this afternoon, just as the sun was thinking about setting..........it looked amazing, like a huge red/orange ball in the sky with thin wispy clouds around it and a misty landscape of trees just below it and I had to drive past two places that I would have stopped to take a photo had I been alone, because hubby was in a hurry, as he had to get something in the post. I looked longingly at the 'lost' opportunity as I drove past and by the time I had dropped him off the sun had disappeared............I wonder if he realises what sacrifices I make for him, lol  ;-)))

Right, I'm going to try and catch up with you all as much as I can now...........so long as my phone doesn't ring.....again!!   :-))
