Today was summer. Up reasonably early despite having not got back until 2am and it was warm and sunny. Felt decidedly dehydrated because of the hotness of the gig last night but only to be expected.

Out for a run (I'm still deluding myself that I'm going to do two half marathons next month) and finally broke 10km. Unfortunately I need to run 20km. Bugger. Got back and the weather was still good so a BBQ for lunch along with some great salads that +1/2 made.

Of course, by 3pm it was hosing it down.

I realized that I'd let my wish list on Amazon get a bit long and unkempt; the idea is that I use it as a mental note of music to buy. The great thing about digital music stores is that people are getting rid of their CDs which means there are lots of companies selling through Amazon that will sell you the same thing but used: I picked up the first 8 CDs from the list at an average cost of £2.50 each including shipping. Yay!

Mental note to self: you should really spend more on new music.
