shasta daisy

these aren't my favourite garden flowers as they get a bit untidy but I do like them as individuals, they have such an intricate structure
there was unbelievable rain at lunchtime. I came out of the office to go to a meeting and was met by the heavens opening and forked lightning. I waited a short while and it eased off but about 1 mile away I caught up with it and driving was pretty scary - a few feet visibility and about an inch of surface water, even the lorries were going slow. If there had been anywhere to stop I would've done but fortunately it was a fairly short stretch. I think it was even worse than the downpours in Ghana!
