Christmas Capitol

The very early rise this morning (5.30 (!)) was totally worth it - what a wonderful day here in Washington DC Leonora and I had! We walked the mall, visited the National Gallery, admired the Christmas decorations, but, most importantly, went all 'North American' and saw the Nutcracker performed by the Washington Ballet (see extra). All ready now for the holidays!
