The tree

Somehow the lit tree in the dark room makes me really feel peaceful.  I turn the lights on first thing in the morning - and that moment when the colors shine makes me really happy.

So many terrible things happened today.  

But today I said yes to actual footsoldier work.  Hoping that participating will alleviate the hopelessness.
