An Admiral on dry land

Most of the time we had the same dull conditions today as we had yesterday. To make it worse it was very windy as well and I had almost resigned myself to posting a blip I wasn't entirely happy with. After I'd walked one of the dogs from the sanctuary this afternoon though this Red Admiral landed on the road and posed very obligingly for me for several minutes.
