A bit earlier than this, a few blocks down the main road, we had a really good, fun, rousing, Christmas concert. Beforehand we put out every pew, chair and bench we could find and we still had some people standing. We sang Bach's Magnificat as well as we ever have and the audience joining in Hark the Herald Angels Sing with full orchestra was magnificent. Smiles everywhere.


It was a free concert with a leaving collection to be split among three charities. We collected over £1,000.
