Searching

A Coastguard helicopter hovering near our house. It's a familiar sound and sight; but not a welcome one, because it means there is a fear that someone has jumped in the Tay. I hope that hasn't actually happened tonight.

On another level, the image is a testament to the capability of a modern camera. It's a hand-held shot with a long lens and an exposure of 1/4s. All that could be seen with the eye were the bright spotlights.
