Trees up!!

We actually put it up on Saturday. Normally it sits in a large metal tripod type thing which is rather ugly so lots of decorative work is done to try and hide it. This year we found a wooden box, painted red and gold, specially designed for Christmas trees. It looks so much better than the old iron holder; not nearly as effective as the tree wobbles something rotten, but it does look nice.
Sunday morning we found the tree was inclining to the left, it was doing a Pisa impersonation. However after some very clever rope work involving the windows and curtain rail the tree is again vertical and slightly less wobbly.
It has another two weeks to retain its composure, confidence is not high that it will make it through without further positional adjustment management intervention
