Washer men

The woman may have been testing the temperature of the water, I am not sure. I have blipped the lavoir or washing house before but today it was in use. The thermal hot water runs constantly and there is no charge. Many lavoirs fell into ruin around France but are now being restored. Our one has always been used but more so in summer when the holiday makers are around. These three seemed to be enjoying themselves. Of course, the lavoir was a great spot for community and gossip, something we have now lost. It is probably a fair trade in for the convenience of the washing machine though!
