Ice Swan

Another freezing cold morning--chill factors well below zero! We drove to South Shore Park, as I wanted to see if there were some frozen branches along the edge of the lake and noticed this swan out on the water! It's only the second time I've seen a swan here, and the first was years ago, so I was really excited! The water inside the breakers is starting to freeze and you can see the little ribbons of water flowing between the forming ice. I thought the swan looked beautiful out there, with the snow sparkling around it! :))
