 Again one of the 24 Doors events & a tour of the library was arranged.
This is Scotland's largest library and the world centre for the study of Scotland and the Scots. The library is open to the public if you obtain a readers card & is more used for reference purpose's. Both digital and maps are available for the masses to consult (hence the stair map).
If you wish to check up on Scottish family history it is one of the places to visit.
Toured around some of the behind the scenes areas not usually open to the public and heard about the history of the NLS altogether a very interesting event.
