Zoo

The little grands had been invited to a party at the Zoo this morning so we went too....... we were taken on a short stroll by a zoo guide to see the Pandas, the elephants (too far away), the snow leopard (sleeping), the fishing cat (sleeping), the otters (sleeping but visible) and then back to enjoy juice and cake.  What more could a kid want?
No longer icy underfoot but still a chilly -2. In the evening we went downtown to see the Christmas Tree by the White House and watched some children performing. Most enjoyable.

Going to have to apologise for not commenting a lot in the next few weeks....time seems to be running out by the end of the day!
