This weekend I was blessed and honored to take art in Synod 16 in the Archdiocese of Detroit.  I did my best to stay "unplugged" for the days of the Synod so I could engage to the best of my ability.  Today was the final day, so I brought along my camera to capture some pics after we were done, in downtown Detroit and especially at historic St. Aloysius Church where the weekend masses were held.  I's a gorgeous old church.  This pic is of a metal sculpture over the church doors.  They don't build 'em like this anymore!
