Jodrell Bank

Interesting trip here today. It was supposed to have a lifespan of 15 years, but it's been here since 1957.
Mind boggled by the Whispering dishes - two parabola facing each other about 50 yards apart. You whisper into it and the person at the other one hears like it's being whispered right into their ear. Amazing.
